AU Background: Count Dooku was once renowned as a gentleman, a scholar, and a peacekeeper. But he grew more and more disillusioned as the Emperor's seeming senility increased and the peace of Eigisengoku began to fade, until his studies led to him being lured to the philosophies of an ancient sect of dark sorcerors known as the Sith. Now known as Darth Tyranus, Dooku wields his formidable abilities both as warrior and politician in the War of Succession for the only goal the Sith truly value: power.

Fighting Style: Dooku is an exceptionally skilled fencer with his red-tinted sabre, personally customized to his elegant, precise fighting style, with a distinctive curved hilt. He is equally adept at fighting duels or engaging multiple enemies at once, and frequently taunts opponents to break their concentration. However, Dooku's greatest powers lie in the Sith sorcery he has mastered: among other feats, he is capable of moving objects with his mind, generating bolts of lightning, and choking a victim without touching them. However, Dooku wears little to no armour into battle, believing that the Dark Side affords him all the protection he needs. Being proven wrong in this may well be his downfall.
